The SATA AV Green Power drive works with Dolby Digital 5.1 for superb surround sound from digital music and video content. The Philips Multi Media Player can be connected to TV via Composite or S-video. Connectors are compatible with almost any TV and work with SCART adapters as well (not supplied with the product). USB 2.0 and Prolific chip secure super fast data transfer at all times.

IntelliPark	Reduces power consumption by automatically unloading the heads during idle, reducing aerodynamic drag.
IntelliPower	A fine-tuned balance of spin speed, transfer rate and caching algorithms designed to deliver both significant power savings and solid performance.
PWL	Preemptive War Leveling by the disk’s drive arm: frequent sweep across the disk to reduce uneven wear on the drive surface. Uneven wear is common to audio video streaming applications.

To that end, a newly designed eco-friendly hard drive range with WD GreenPower Technology for WD desktop, enterprise, CE and external hard drive products has now become available.

Based on extensive customer input toward supporting ENERGY STAR 4.0 compliance and incorporating the latest in engineering technology WD developed this platform to bring more energy efficient hard drive options to you.

It's about the environment.

As hard drive capacities increase, the power required to run those drives increases as well. Currently available 1 TB hard drives have a typical power consumption rating greater than 13.5 watts. WD has designed the first 3.5-inch hard drives that deliver power savings as the primary attribute. Green drives from WD yield average drive power savings of 4-5 watts over standard desktop drives while maintaining solid performance.

Those power savings equate to reducing CO2 emission by up to 60 kilograms per hard disk drive per year - the equivalent of taking your car off the road for 14 days each year! • Amicroe will repair unit defects and will return the unit after repair: No responsibility is accepted for existing product damage (i.e. scratches / dents) upon our receipt.
• Customers must ensure proper and complete packaging of returned product for full protection of product during transit.
• Amicroe will not be responsible for possible loss of data on the unit due to the product’s failure. It is recommended that customers arrange for regular back up of stored data.
